We have worked with Zach, Logan and the team at Urban Forest Solutions (UFS) for 4 years now and have always been pleased. Zach and his team are really knowledgeable about our small "urban forest" here in Dollarton, North Vancouver, are always able to help us plan ahead with large cedars, old fruit trees, aging magnolias, diseased and struggling trees and shrubs and work well with our neighbours on both sides of the fence to ensure the work goes well for them too. The crew have always arrived when scheduled and we have always had clean and clear gardens and pathways when the job is finished. We find all members of Zach's team to be respectful and polite and good at their job. It is wonderful to work with a crew like this and to feel that the yard and trees that we love are in such good hands. We had 7 trees and a couple of large bushes on our property pruned by UFS. They sent an estimate prior to establishing an arrival date and time, were punctual on the day of the appointment and left the property neat and clean. Communication is always friendly and prompt. We wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again.

As usual, an excellent professional experience. A pre appointment walk through was provided, where work was discussed in a collaborative manner. Our own ideas were listened to thoughtfully, not dismissively. On the day of, the crew was prompt and friendly with an excellent work ethic. Besides the work being well done, it was evident that safety was taken seriously, and neighbours property was never overlooked. Highly recommended.

Zack and crew were professional and timely on both the estimate and work completed

We didn’t hire Urban Forest Solutions (UFS) directly; our neighbors did, as part of a shared fence project. However, we interacted with Zach throughout the process, as part of the work affected our property, and UFS also proposed additional improvements to the area. While Zach initially provided clear communication and regular updates, the experience deteriorated over time. There were multiple delays, missed commitments, and a consistent lack of follow-up. His responses to texts and emails often arrived days later, and schedules kept changing. To make matters worse, one unfortunate incident occurred when my wife asked about completing the cleanup on our property from the work that had been done. Although Zach had previously assured us this would be handled, he spoke to her in a dismissive and disrespectful tone. He reminded her that she wasn’t the one paying for the job and ultimately did not complete the promised cleanup, despite the fact that we were directly affected and had been in communication with him from the beginning. Urban Forest Solutions also sent us a planting proposal, which we appreciated in principle. However, after doing some research, we discovered that nearly all of the suggested plants were unsuitable for a wooden fence and could potentially cause damage over time. The final frustration was that their team left several items behind on our property, including concrete bags, a bucket, a 2x4, and gloves in both the backyard and driveway. We were told these would be picked up by a specific date with no exceptions, but no one came. In the end, we had to handle the cleanup ourselves. We do want to thank our neighbors for initiating this project and for always being respectful and considerate throughout the process. Unfortunately, our experience with Urban Forest Solutions did not meet expectations.

Zach and his team worked very hard on a difficult 3 day job. They did a great job and left the yard perfect. I would highly recommend Zach and his team.

Had Zack & his team from Urban Forest Solution attend to our home today to prune and shape several of my trees. They were on time, pruned/trimmed my trees like I requested and, even did a little extra trimming. They were efficient, and the yard was cleaned up. Zack did not hesitate to communicate any changes, recommendations to me.They had to go into the neighbours yard and, ensured that their yard was also clean. Zack's prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend Urban Forest Solutions for your tree requirement.

Zach and the UFS team did an amazing job completing a seasonal clean up and pruning of our garden area. It looks beautiful! Zach is incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
